India is the largest producer and consumer of pulses in the world.

Chickpeas (Channa), pigeon peas (arhar / toor dal), urad beans (urad dal), mung beans (mung) and red lentils (masoor) are the top five pulses grown in India.

Account for over 80 percent of the total pulses production in the country. Over 60 per cent of pulses produced in India are grown during the Rabi season. The country has achieved a record pulses production of 18.45 million tonnes in the 2012-13 crop year ended June. We are major traders of Chickpeas.
